I am Shiva Zanoli, 38 years old female from the Netherlands. I have lived in America and New Zealand and currently living in Hilversum, The Netherlands. I started running after my son was born about 10 years ago. I always lead an active life but found it hard to commit to soccer practice and games etc. It started because it was the "easy"way to get fit again, but soon it developed into a bit of an addiction. Running is my therapy, it makes me happy, gives me energy and helps me empty my mind. I have started a run streak on 26-11-2015. It was supposed to last 37days but has continued ever since. I love trail running but don't mind a bit of road running either .

//// Why did you start running - what was your motivation?

I wanted to get fit again after having my child. Running is "easy"you can start whenever, do it whenever and however long you want without high costs.

//// Do you remember your first race? How was your feeling when you finished?

My first race was 7km round the bays in Wellington NZ, I remember feeling the excitement of standing between all these people in anticipation for the race to start. Started way to fast just trying to pass people left right and center because well .. I'm a bit compatitive.. about half way I told my Husband "I think I am going much faster then I normaly run" about 2 km to go I felt Like I could go no more but didn't want to give up.. ended up pucking my guts out after the finish . So proud after and the addiction of running was born.

//// What is the one run you'll never forget, and why?

There are a few , but if I had to pick one it would have to be Rotterdam Marathon 2017. My first ( and so far only) marathon. loved the admosphere and the emotion around me.

//// Why are you a 361° ambassador? What motivates you to go beyond expectations?

I think people should always keep challenging themself. it makes you a better and happier person. It's amazing to see what people can do. also really want to show my son that if you set your mind to something and you work for it you can do anything.
